Pete Goss - Yachtsman

Pete Goss has himself been a rescuer.  During the 1996 Vendée Globe he turned back during a severe storm in the Southern Ocean to rescue fellow sailor, Raphael Dinelli. 

Pete has also experienced the services of the RNLI first-hand, when his catamaran lost her port bow north of the Isles of Scilly. 

In 2008, in association with Talisker Whiskey, Pete has spoken at three Talisker Tales events, alongside volunteer lifeboat crewmembers, with all proceeds going to the RNLI.
