About this station
Moelfre lifeboat station has a remarkable history of bravery with its lifeboat crews being awarded 37 Medals for gallantry. Two of the Gold Medals were awarded to the outstanding figure in the station's history - Coxswain Richard (Dic) Evans.

St Davids' lifeboats were called out on Tuesday night to the aid of three teenage girls trapped in a gulley at the foot of cliffs at Caerfai Bay.
