About this beach
Towan is a flat, sandy beach next to Newquay Harbour. It is sheltered from most of the Atlantic swells and only gets surf during stormy conditions. During high water it is a small cove type beach. At low tide Towan connects with Great Western beach. Towan is very close to the town therefore access to the beach is easy.
