About this station
Home to Portree lifeboat, the harbour in the main town on Skye is also used by fishing vessels and pleasure craft. Portree lifeboat station operates an all weather Trent class lifeboat.

Holiday family found aground

Loch Ness lifeboat crew were training on Sunday morning, 28 September, at 8am when they came across the motor cruiser Teal aground in Urquhart Bay, Drumnadrochit.
