About this station
Celebrating over 200 years as a lifeboat station, Montrose is one of the oldest stations in the British Isles. Today it operates both an inshore D class lifeboat and an all weather Tyne class lifeboat.

Holiday family found aground

Loch Ness lifeboat crew were training on Sunday morning, 28 September, at 8am when they came across the motor cruiser Teal aground in Urquhart Bay, Drumnadrochit.
