Alexander Moore M.B.E. ( Coxswain )
Age 53, married to Sue with 2 sons, Chris 26 and Stephen 22. Joined crew in 1970 and served as Asst Mechanic from 1976 to 2003. Appointed 2nd Coxswain 1988 and then Coxswain in 1991. Grandfather, father and uncle have all served as Mechanics and Coxswain on the Barrow Lifeboats.

Steve Wilcock ( A.L.B Navigator )
Age 53 married to Di with a son Paul and daughter Jayne. Joined crew in 1988 and served 10 years on I.L.B. crew before becoming A.L.B. navigator. Son Paul is also on the crew and Jaynes partner Ben is I.L.B. helm and A.L.B. Emergency Mechanic.
Dave Kell ( Deputy 2nd Cox & I.L.B. Senior Helm)
Age 35. Married to Samantha, has 2 children, Chloe10 and Jake 5. Joined crew 1990 and became First Aider 1999, and also A.L.B. Navigator. Appointed as I.L.B. Senior helm 2001. Dave has recently achieved the position of Deputy 2nd Cox'n.
Jonny Long (Dep 2nd Cox, 2nd Mech, I.L.B.Sen Helm)
Son of station D.L.A. John, Jonathan is 33, married to Claire with one baby daughter Daisy. Joined crew April 1991 after serving apprenticeship polishing the boats brasses and brewing tea ashore. A.L.B. 2nd Mech and I.L.B. Senior helm ,still brewing tea but at sea ! Jonny has also recently qualified as Deputy 2nd Cox'n.

Peter Trelore ( A.L.B. Navigator )
Age 49, joined crew 1992. Married to Jane with 2 daughters Claire and Emily and grand daughter Daisy. Jane is an active Ladies Guild member, Claire is married to 2nd Mech Jonathan, and Emily is an A.L.B. & I.L.B. crew member. Quite a family concern !
Chris ( Fizza ) Moore ALB & ILB crew
Chris 27, is the eldest son of the Cox'n, and joined the crew in 1998. Chris is a communications engineer with B.T. and is married to Michaela.
Richard ( W.C. ) Turner ( A.L.B. & I.L.B. Crew )
Age 35, Richard joined the crew in 2005. Married to Lyndsey with two children, Charlotte and baby Harry, Richard works as an Intensive Care Charge Nurse, but has to confess he looks awful in the black stockings. He shall be eternally grateful to Jonny Long for his crew nickname!
Emily Trelore ( A.L.B. & I.L.B. Crew )
Age 19, daughter of A.L.B. Navigator Peter. Joined the crew on her 17th birthday and is presently at South Shields training for a Merchant Navy Engineering Officers ticket, but still finds time when home at weekends for boats exercises.
Kate Lawty ( A.L.B. & I.L.B. Crew )
Kate has just successfully completed her 12 months probationary period and is looking forward to continuing as crew of both boats.
