It's all about the people

Fred. Olsen has been a loyal corporate supporter to the RNLI for many years. The company generously donates cruises for use as prizes at various boat shows or for the RNLI Lottery. However, it is their wonderful passengers and crews that are the real stars.
Last year they raised in excess of £72,000 through raffles, quizzes, church services, foreign coin collections and auctions on board their cruise liners. Thanks to these donations it has enabled the RNLI to design and develop new drive on, drive off launching trailers for the Atlantic 85 rigid inflatable lifeboats. One such funded trailer went on station earlier in 2007 at Mudeford in Dorset.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines pride themselves on providing a very personal service on their five distinctive vessels; Braemar, Black Prince, Black Watch, Boudicca and Balmoral. So just remember, you can enjoy a relaxing cruise and help fundraise for the RNLI at the same time.
Wendy Hooper-Greenhill, Publicity Manager from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines comments: 'Fundraising for the RNLI has become an institution on all our ships, and it is very rewarding to know that the generosity of our passengers and crew has achieved so much this year'
