The RNLI has recently launched a new corporate partnership with Chip and Trace.Com at the Sports and Rib Show. Chip and Trace is new boat identification system that provides security for boat owners.
The RNLI receives 5% of the price of each unit sold and 5% of subsequent renewals; we aim to raise over £20,000 from this partnership during 2007.
Boat owners can secure their vessel simply by implanting a chip onboard. The location of the chip is stored on a secure database.
